"Street Photography is about seeing and reacting."
--> Thats exsactly what i did.
This a photograph across tracks at the right end of New Street Station Birhmingham
I was walking along here at 19:11 yesterday. I went to Birhmingham for 5hours 6-11 to souly take photos. The fact that i didnt have my SD memory card was a bugger. So i was limited to 30+ photos.
And all of them turned out crap... bar 4or5
This is one of the ones i liked.
Real nice down there, i love high speed trains also. amazing.
Hope you like this

A little blurry, but still a really nice shot. I particularly enjoy the contrast between the two strips of shrouded darkness and the station itself. Reminds me of The Matrix.
That's the best shot i've seen in a while.. the color atmosphere and composition is just awesome.. the quality could have been better but good job anyways..

I like this, it makes me think it should be included in a mobile telephone advert of some sort. Or perhaps I've seen a scene like this before on television somewhere. I've looked at a few station pictures on da, one in particular where it is deliberately angled/edited to look 'abstract' or 'meaningful' or 'something. I don't like it.
I do, however, think this is a good idea. Apart from the platform itself not being paralell with the roofing (it looks askew because the whole picture isn't perfectly straight, I think) and the general picture quality, I really do love this. It's very modest, and I'm loving not seeing any bodies that get in the way. I'm not at train stations enough to get a good picture, and I wouldn't submit anything because I'd think it was cliché, but very well-done here.
see there are reasons i add people like you to my list! though there are few theres definatly a reason and what can i say...i love this one.... train stations are just so cool, espically when no ones there....though ya now that can be kind of creepy too....-remembers the scenes from her favorite book called neverwhere-
